'Positive Energy' was formed to help the survivors in their desperation. We are over 800 strong. Strong men and women willing to dedicate ourselves to the job of improving the living conditions of those who deserve better.

Israel Support Fund is unique in searching out causes and individuals who do not have access to necessary assistance; causes like Positive Energy. These are people who are “under the radar”. The people we help are not part of any establishment. They are the “invisible” Jews supported by neither government nor religious institutions.

While they may not live in squalor, their conditions are less than satisfactory. That’s when Positive Energy volunteers step in: We build. We renovate. We do, in a humbler way, what Extreme Makeover Home Edition does on television.

Positive Energy volunteers brighten the lives of those who have suffered so much by redecorating their homes. New furniture and appliances. Carpeting. Fresh paint. Structural modifications and much needed repairs.

No, we don’t provide monetary assistance. Our strength is in our work. Over 800 not-so-ordinary volunteers who dedicate their time and ability to making life better for those who have suffered enough.

The Holocaust generation is getting older and their plight is getting worse with every passing day. Positive Energy’s purpose is to make it better.

The average cost of a single renovation is only $6,500.00 to $8,000.00 per apartment.
Normally, that would be barely enough to outfit a kitchen and paint the walls. But Positive Energy can work wonders and in our hands that money can provide everything needed to make a substandard apartment into a modern, comfortable home.
